FROGGY'S TONGUE TWISTER

This is one of the tongue twisters that Albert taught in his French class. It's one of many but he was particularly fond of it as it was the best and most difficult one.

THE SICHERHEITS DIENST

Following Albert's repatriation from the Flemish Legion in early 1942, he was assigned to work for the Gestapo as an interpreter.

PRISON DETAIL

This dramatic picture from the Boitsfort football stadium in Brussels was taken in 1948. It shows Albert (left) and Jeff Olbrecht who are on a prison work detail from Het Klein Kasteeltje prison.

BROTHER JOSEF

This photo shows Albert aged thirteen as he joined the order of the De La Salle brothers in 1929.
